This little illustration was in response to a

documentary called

"The Future of Food."

I would highly recommend watching

this film. It's on hulu.com! Oftentimes I shy

away from researching into our

government's greedy little plots

because I'd rather not know about

something terrible that I have no power to

fix or prevent. In this case, though the

future of our produce seems fairly bleak (sorry),

there are still ways we can combat these major

food corporations simply by the choices we make

in our daily lives.

I think the recent holiday sneaked onto my painting in this one.. Halloween is the sneakiest holiday by far.

That red area on the neck - NOT a gash.. It just felt right.

I'm going to get back to my little drawings now I suppose.

I want to do another more realistic portrait soon.

Got a little underpainting started. I'm testing out my portrait skills after a long hiatus. Not straight up realism though.. Maybe a small illustrative element. If things go well I'm gonna see if anyone would be interested in commissioning a portrait.
